As reported by Infotec Baltika, on 31 March 2019 the LNG tanker CORAL ENERGICE was loaded for the first time from the new Cryogas-Vysotsk liquefied natural gas terminal at the Port of Vysotsk.
A total of 7,390 tonnes (17,340m3) of LNG was loaded.
The terminals' hydrotechnical facilities were constructed to Morstroytechnology's design, with two berths making up the complex:
- a 235m long LNG loading berth with a design depth of 9.4m;
- a 180m long berth for loading LNG tankers and for temporary mooring of auxiliary vessels, with a design depth of 9m.
More detailed characteristics of the terminal, along with photos from the construction site, can be found in the project description.
According to figures from the newspaper Kommersant, despatch of LNG from the terminal is taking place as part of the commissioning of the first and second production lines of the Cryogas-Vysotsk facility.
It is planned that both lines will enter full production operations in the near future.
