Morstroytechnology drafted the documentation for this project over the course of 2016-2017.
The project documentation envisages the construction of a new berth 38 alongside the protective breakwater of the Novorossiisk commercial port. The berth will be used as part of the NUTEP LLC container terminal located in the south-east part of the Novorossiisk port’s cargo area.
This berth is the first of its kind in Russia, and will be able to service container vessels of up to 8000 TEU capacity.
Vessels of up to 316m in length, 45m beam and 12,7m draft will be able to dock at the new berth.
The design for the facility is unique, with a trestle construction measuring 366,3m by 113,2m in plan view. The top of the quay is at 3m above sea-level, with the base at a maximum of 19m below sea-level. The pile foundation consists of 1200 piles with a diameter of 1020mm and 36-39m in length.
The construction is designed to withstand seismic activity of up to 9 points.
On 10.01.2018, approval was granted by Glavgosexpertiza for the design documentation and engineering surveys.
The client, DeloPorts LLC, expressed its gratitude to Mortstroytechnology for the quality of the work carried out on the project.
