Morstroytechnology carried out a detailed survey of berths 1 and 2 of Moby Dick LLC, as well as the survey of the sea-bed in the vicinity of the structures.
Morstroytechnology’s specialists carried out a range of calculations on the berthing facilities to determine their ability to support the design loads from mobile cranes. As a result, the company submitted recommendations on the arrangement of crane equipment at the berths which enabled the terminal's capacity to be increased to 400 000 TEU/year.
