Morstroytechnology provided:
- investment feasibility support;
- project documentation;
- detailed working documentation;
- design and construction supervision.
The port of Sochi has been transformed into a major international centre for passenger and cruise shipping.
The newly developed area incorporates a border checkpoint for cruise and car-ferry passengers.
In accordance with the project, part of the harbour basin has been converted into a yacht marina, which is also used for the docking of local passenger ferries.
In the winter of 2014, the Port of Sochi welcomed guests of the Olympic games, and in May it hosted for the first time ever the SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014, a regatta for the world’s most beautiful sailing vessels.
The new harbour is designed to accommodate 2 passenger liners and 2 ferries.
