Integrated operational support base for exploratory drilling in the Kara sea. Port of Murmansk

Project brief: Design for a base for centralized preparation of drilling fluids for well drilling on installations in the Kara Sea operated by ExxonMobil.

The base incorporates a Halliburton salt solution preparation plant, rack platforms for the storage of drilling pipes, office buildings and storage containers for technical water.

The site also includes an innovative covering material fabricated from rig mat.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Morstroytechnology and Sakhalin Shelf Service LLC, the base entered service within a tight schedule.
