Project location: Mangistau region, coastline 17km west of Kuryk village (Republic of Kazakhstan, Aleksander Bekovish-Cherkassky Bay, west of the cape of Sarzha).
Project brief: Construction of facilities for the transport and handling of oil and oil products, liquefied gases, dry cargos, grain and mineral fertilizers in hopper railcars, ferry transportation operations, and to participate in the development of international commercial shipping.
Ferry terminal key characteristics:
- capacity to handle railway ferries;
- design vessel – Makhachkala ferry;
- nature of shipment – export and import.
The project feasibility study received approval from the state inspectorate of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
