Under contract to Cryogaz, Morstroytechnology has completed the drafting of project documentation for the design of hydraulic facilities, operational waterway and Russian state border checkpoint for a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Vysotsk.

At the time of writing, the project documentation and results of engineering survey for Stage 1 of the project have been agreed with Rosmorport, and approval has been granted by the Main State Department of Expertise (№1192-16/ГГЭ-10755/04 dated 28.10.2016).

Stage 1 of construction work envisages the building of a quay for receiving oversized cargoes and construction materials, with a temporary access road and zone for the temporary storage of equipment and materials.

To enable the construction of a sea terminal for the production and handling of up to 660 thousand tonnes of LNG per annum, the Russian government took the decision to ezpand the Vysotsk seaport.

Construction work is due to begin in 2017 conditional upon the necessary financial resources being made available.
