Letter of thanks

Dear Mikhail Yuvinalevich,

RPK Nord Ltd is owner and operator of the RPK Nord terminal located on the Umba floating oil storage facility. Oil from the Russian Federation’s Arctic oil-fields is transshipped through the RPK terminal and loaded onto shuttle-tankers of various tonnages.

The potential influence of climatic factors makes transshipment through the RPK terminal a complex process involving a multitude of parameters, in which every element must be interconnected.

To achieve a more accurate understanding of our capabilities and the throughput capacity of the terminal, a decision was taken to use the possibilities offered by virtual modeling.

Morstroytechnology Ltd put together a research team which helped us to answer all the questions that we had set ourselves, to understand the most significant factors affecting the capacity of the terminal and, as a result, the increase in freight turnover. Our extensive experience of working with Morstroytechnology has shown the company to be a real expert in the field of maritime transport, and one that is able to solve complex, multifaceted tasks.

S A Rashitova
Acting General Director
