The Tuapse bulk terminal is built on the territory of the Tuapse shipyard. Morstroytechnology carried out the design work and supervised the terminal’s construction.
Morstroytechnology specialists designed the approach jetty and berth structure using steel piles with an in-situ steel formwork for reinforced concrete pile caps.
The key advantages of this technique include:
- construction without using floating rigs;
- increased durability of the structure thanks to the use of a permanent formwork which provides the reinforced concrete pile caps additional protection against corrosion in the aggressive marine environment.
