The Tuapse grain terminal is a specialised transshipment complex equipped with up-to-date technical facilities and equipment in full compliance with international ecological and safety requirements.

Entering service in February 2010, the Tuapse grain terminal handled 525,000 tons of grain in its first year, using piers and berths designed by Morstroytechnology.

In 2011, after the embargo had been revoked, the grain terminal cargo turnover reached the 1m tonne mark by September, including wheat (940 000 tonnes) and barley (50 000 tonnes). The projected cargo capacity for the project is over 2m tonnes of grain annually.
